Reading so many reviews on the internet, you must be tempted to try out the best eye lightning eye drops available on the market!
But, before we get started, it is essential that we mention that you must entrust professionals for some specific Beauty treatments.
Having said that, we always encourage a person to have this kind of treatment in Salons.
The experts would know what to do and what not to do too. However, if you have had your share of experience, then we understand that you might be looking to try out this treatment on your own.
So, we have decided to provide you with a short tutorial to help you Dye eyelashes on your own! We have broken down the process into several steps so that you can easily follow through on the steps.
1. Doing a Patch Test:
Before you get started, it is a good idea to do a patch test beforehand. After all, you are going to be applying the dye to a very sensitive area which you can end up damaging if you end up using a material too harmful for you.
Try doing a patch test of about twenty-four hours before usage. Doing so will reveal any problem that you might face after the application.
2. Mixing the Eyelash Dye:
Usually, you will find that the kit comes with the following items:
- A Tube of Eyelash Dye Cream
- One Plastic Wand to Mix
- A bottle of Developer Liquid
- A plastic mixing tray.
Start by squeezing some dye from the tube on the tray. After that, add some drops of activating solution.
After that, keep stirring unless you are done. You must make sure that you mix it until the solution becomes too thick and Gloopy.
Having said that, you must keep in mind that you don’t end up adding too much solution. If the mixture is runny, you will face difficulty in the application process of the dye on your eyelashes.
Make sure that the Dye is thick enough to stick easily on the wand. This way, you will be able to ensure that you can apply it correctly.
3. Using a Barrier Cream:
Before you get on with this step, it is essential that you do some preparation. A lot of people haven’t done this before. Since people are new to this step, they end up making a lot of mistakes around this part.
The list of mistakes includes getting dye on your eyelids or face. Use a Barrier cream such as Vaseline around your eyes so you don’t end up spreading the dye.
4. Applying the Dye to Your Lashes:
When it comes to dyeing your eyelashes, you must only dye your eyelashes using the same plastic stick that you used to mix the dye.
For application, you can also use a miniature, mascara-styled brush which makes it a lot easy for the users to apply the dye.
5. Wait for a While:
Once you have applied dye on your eyelashes, all there is left for you to do is wait.
According to the instructions, you are supposed to wait from somewhere 5 to ten minutes before you wash the dye off from your lashes.
However, just to be on the safe side, we suggest that you let it sit for a little longer. Try Letting it sit for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
6. What about Dyeing your Eyebrows?
If you have some Spare Eyelash Dye, don’t save it for later; Instead, you can use it on your eyebrows.
The application process for the application on your eyebrows is entirely similar to the process of application of dye on your eyelashes.
You might be even more tempted to know this. Since Eyebrows are spread over a wide area, dye is going to be more obvious too!
Now that you have waited for the right amount of time, the best idea would be to wash off the dye.
Make sure that you’re very careful and don’t get any of the dye in your eyes. We suggest that you use Cotton wool pads soaked in water. Press them on your eyelids and remove the dye.
Here is the entire process following which you will be able to dye your own eyelashes.
